Nela Solomon Wall Art

Nela Solomon (Born 1971) was born in Shiraz, Iran. Born into a middle-income, rural family, she’s the first of three children. Embracing both the more forward-thinking styles that seemed to have no rules and the established or traditional art forms, she was deeply affected by the art world to an extent that she opted to make a living as a scientist which she considered to be more sensible. Nela grew up in a creatively liberal environment in which she had all the freedom to explore whatever art style she wanted. Her parents encouraged her inborn talents in the visual arts and they provided her with watercolor sets and sketching pads at a young age. Most of the times, she was never far from her set of watercolor paints and the sketch pad. At the age o 21, she moved to Vienna to immerse herself in the art of much esteemed masters like Egon Schiele and Gustav Klimt.

She also immersed herself in the German language. Nela witnessed the innovation and energy of Vienna and its community that she found to be very artistic. The excitement provided by the Vienna community stuck with her forever. Her travels and works eventually brought her to the United States in 1996. Here, Nela continued with her studies at Pierce College in Los Angeles. And having never given up on her love of art, she was soon accepted by Emanuel as an apprentice. Emanuel was so impressed with her talent that he allowed her to develop her own technique of abstract painting.
