Tom Brown Wall Art

Tom Brown hails from Orange County, California, United States. He’s an artist and he hosts a TV Art Instruction show where he teaches plein air painting and studio oil painting in the Impressionist style. Brown also teaches other artists how to paint through art instruction CDs and DVDs and oil painting workshops. His still life compositions, Impressionist plein air landscapes, figure and portraits paintings have been represented through prominent galleries for over 2 decades. His paintings are in private and corporate collections including Standard Oil, Sears, Coca Cola and the City of Irvine. His work is often seen in leading art publications like Art & Antiques, Southwest Art, American Art Collector, American Art Review, Art Calendar and others. Brown is a former president of the Orange Art Association and past member of Southern California Plein Air Painters Association and the Laguna Plein Air Painters Association.

On his Daily Painter blog he offers affordable small original oil paintings to introduce his work to ongoing and new collectors. Much of his work these days is done on a private commission basis, and he welcomes inquiries. Brown has developed a unique process that he uses to produce highly textural works with layers that help convey his inner feelings about his subject matter. His images resonate well with a diverse group of collectors and viewers of all ages. After her graduation, he plunged into the art world and within a short time he had managed to pull a huge following of fans. Brown uses his art to communicate with his viewers but leaves the interpretation for them.
