Osiecki Designs Wall Art

Osiecki Designs was created by Osiecki in 2007. It is a privately held company that is based in Skaneateles, NY. It is categorized under Interior Design Company. Osiecki is a graphic designer, poster artist, climber, mountaineer, architect, skier, and filmmaker. He entered his posters Hockey Poster and Ski Poster for the 1932 Los Angeles Olympics together with artist and rower Skolimowski who won a bronze medal and a silver medal. Osiecki served in the Army in Poland during the First World War. In 1929, he earned his degree architectural engineering at the Warszawa University of Technology. And from 1933 to 1934 and also from 1936 to 1937, he took part in two expeditions in Poland in the Andes. Among his companions he’s the one who made the first ascents on peaks and he’s also the one who broke several height records on Aconcagua, Poland. At the beginning of the Second World War II, in 1939, he participated in the defense of Lviv, and later he decided to move to London, where he worked for the Polish Ministry of Documentation and Information in the Office of Film. At the start of 1927, the artist made short films which covered mountaineering expeditions. He also designed the very first versions of the Badges for Mountain Tourists, and after the Second World War, he participated in exhibitions in Roma, Bruxelles, New York and Helsinki. During the first expedition in Poland, Osiecki was responsible for the documentation of Andean film. He was among the creators of colored poster for the Ice Hockey World Championships.
